Sabbath After Summer
August 30 @ 5:00 pm - September 1 @ 11:00 am CDT$125 – $225
The Dog Days of Summer are gone, and with them, for many, are also days of play and a pace that seems far more civilized.
The root word for anxiety is the same root as anger, and has to do with tightening, and stress, and breathlessness.
There’s more than enough anxiety and anger to go around, in our culture today, and less than enough time for play, for rest, for sabbath.
So as summer wraps up and September begins, come to this retreat to learn ways of stewarding the sabbath all year round, and why sabbath is so crucial to our well-being, and how the culture of sabbath-ing can be culturally contagious, and, because we are on the North Shore, discover any number of ways to sabbath, and play, and savor these last days of Summer.
